Although there is still more work to do, Jack’s House of Hope is now open. The House of Hope welcomed Friends of the Homeless guests into the new building almost exactly two years after ceremonial groundbreaking ceremonies were held in May of 2024. The Friends of the Homeless is extremely grateful to the hundreds of individuals, civic groups, churches, and foundations that contributed more than 5.5 million dollars to the project.
Jack’s House of Hope will be a 20-thousand sq. ft. building with approximately 27 private rooms for men and women and four rooms to house families. The facility will include a chapel, enclosed courtyard, playground, community room, meeting space, and offices. The current shelter will be renovated and used for Pathway to Wellness, storage, office space, and additional services.
