Support Meetings

Sober Support Meetings

Sober Support is a meeting open to the public held 2 times each week (Thur. & Sat.) at noon on the 3rd floor of the shelter at 211 E. High  Ave., New Philadelphia.

Friends of the Homeless welcomes anyone who may be dealing with substance abuse and who finds solace, comfort and support through gathering together in a non-threatening and non-judgmental environment to be with others who share the struggles, and just as importantly, celebrate the successes they experience. Sober Support does not require adherence to any specific theory of recovery and was established to provide an additional option to the recovery community.
