To coincide with construction of Jack’s House of Hope, the Friends of the Homeless is introducing a new logo to honor founder Jack Ream and reflect the organization’s mission to assist families and individuals in a faith-based environment to achieve stability, sobriety, and permanent housing.
Dozens of entries were received in a logo design contest. The winner of the contest was Melody Sprowl, an Indian Valley School District student. Her hand drawn design was used as the inspiration for the new Jack’s House of Hope logo that will replace the logo currently in use by the Friends of the Homeless.
“Melody’s drawing was a clear favorite of the logo selection committee from the many entries received in the contest and provided the inspiration and direction for the final version created by the graphic artists at Synergy Signs in Strasburg,” said House of Hope Committee Co-Chair Matt Ritzert. “We congratulate Melody and thank Abby Smith at Synergy Signs for their work creating the new logo,” Ritzert added.
