Proclamation Issued Recognizing Friends of the Homeless

Friends of the Homeless Board Members receive proclamation from local government officials.

We are honored that the Tuscarawas County Commissioners in commemoration of National Homelessness Awareness Month issued a proclamation recognizing the good work of the Friends of the Homeless of Tuscarawas County. The proclamation recognizes that the FOTH has operated the current shelter as a good neighbor since 2005 and has provided shelter, food, clothing, and a wide variety of services to thousands of local residents. The proclamation also recognizes the work of the staff to help shelter guests find permanent housing and employment.

Connie Clark and Rev. Joe Svancara accepted the proclamation letter from Commissioners Kristin Zemis, Chris Abbuhl, and Greg Ress.
